Delay Election Say howtocomplain.com Users
Users of the recently launched howtocomplain.com
website have voted in favour of delaying the General Election.
57.14% of people* who responded to a simple poll question ‘Should
Blair delay the election’ voted ‘Yes’, with 42.96% voting ‘No’.
howtocomplain.com’s hot topic
this week has been the foot and mouth crisis.
A featured page has been created on the site giving information
on the foot and mouth crisis. This includes quick links to reliable
sources of information, some facts and figures and direct access
to the complaints mechanism of related organisations such as MAFF
(Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food).
Everyone online, including farmers, can access unprecedented
linkage to the complaints processes of local and national government
departments.
Howtocomplain.com also provides a
forum for people to express their opinions on any aspect of government
and public services. Tube strikes, general state of the rail network
and foot and mouth have been the major topics this week.
348 people
have taken part in the poll this week, the first by howtocomplain.com. Statistics available about our users suggest
an equal split between women and men.
All those participating were adult and based in many different
regions in the UK.
